Child Welfare Partnership for 研究 and Training (CWPART) Overview

The Child Welfare Partnership for 研究 and Training (CW-PART) is a unique university-agency partnership and a pi一个ering model for the integration of research into practice. The CW-PART creates partnered-research 项目 that include teams of Title IV-E students working under the supervision of faculty to focus on research questions identified in partnership with the Department of Family and Children’s Services (DFCS) or community-based organizations. It expressly incorporates the unique local context of evidence-based practices that affect children and families. These 项目 are supported by the California Social Work 教育 Center (CalSWEC).

For our Agency Partners

• A team of faculty-led student researchers exploring topics of priority interest to 该机构

• Study results of potentially greater benefit and usefulness than those of typical student 项目, as CWPART student research 项目 tend to be larger in scope

• Meaningful integration of agency guidance and input into research 项目, and minimization of burdens that often accompany individual 项目 (such as the time needed to assist individual student)
